Shot over more than two years, Edge of Dreams captured moments at the frontier of sleep. The place where our minds conjure with reality as we drift towards our goal. This interface of conscious and subconscious was the stage where these images were formed. Sometimes restful, perhaps frantic, even terror stricken, often sensual, certainly powerfully erotic, Edge of Dreams is a journey through multiple mindscapes.
As the series progressed, more and more experimental techniques were introduced and with the help of a group of dedicated models, Andrew produced evocative images blending real with surreal, waking with sleeping and of course reality with fantasy.
